Dana is a licensed and certified, pediatric speech-language pathologist who evaluates, diagnoses, and treats a variety of communication disorders in children ages birth - 21 years of age. She has worked with children with the following diagnoses: apraxia and other motor-based speech disorders, dysarthria, phonological disorders, speech articulation disorders, receptive language disorders, expressive language disorders, stuttering and fluency disorders, cleft lip and/or palate, Autism/Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD), Asperger's Syndrome, pragmatic language disorders, Central Auditory Processing Disorders, Down's Syndrome, language-based and nonverbal learning disabilities, and voice disorders. Other areas of interest include phonological/phonemic development, pre-reading skills, and reading comprehension. Dana also enjoys treating children with sensory-based feeding and swallowing disorders.

Dana currently provides individual speech and language therapy in the child's home environment. She has also run several social skills groups for children between the ages of 5-10 years of age and hopes to begin some new sessions by the end of 2009.

Dana works with children residing on the Massachusetts North Shore area including the following towns and surrounding areas: Beverly, Danvers, Lynnfield, Merrimac, Middleton, Newburyport, Peabody, Rowley, Salem, and Topsfield.
